What it does

Everything a counter
and its books need.

One system from the first barcode scan to the balance sheet — every sale updates the stock, the customer's balance and the ledger at the same moment.

01

An offline cashier

Sell by barcode or by tapping the grid, with F-key shortcuts and held sales. With no connection, each sale is saved on the device and uploaded when the line is back — each with its own key, so nothing is recorded twice.

02

Receipts and hardware

Prints 80 mm receipts straight from the browser, or sends the receipt as a WhatsApp link. Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types like a keyboard works, with no driver.

03

Inventory by branch

Stock per branch, batches with expiry dates, transfers between branches, reorder points and serial or IMEI tracking. Import products from CSV or Excel.

04

Double-entry accounting

Every sale, purchase and expense posts to the ledger automatically. Income statement, balance sheet, trial balance and cash-flow statement, with monthly locks and a year-end close.

05

Customer debts

Credit limits, aging at 30, 60 and 90 days, and statements shared on WhatsApp. Each morning Dashing prepares reminders for customers whose oldest unpaid sale is a week old.

06

Purchasing

Purchase orders, partial receiving, supplier quotes compared side by side, and a scorecard of each supplier's on-time and fill rates.

07

Dash, the AI assistant

Ask in your own language — “How much did I sell yesterday?” — and Dash answers from the shop's data. Any change it suggests waits on an approval card; nothing is written until you approve.

08

Staff and permissions

Owner, accountant, manager and cashier roles with permissions per screen and per branch, plus an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted.

How it was built

Built by Siroz,
run by Siroz.

Dashing is Siroz's own product. The same Baghdad team designs it, writes the code, runs the servers and answers the WhatsApp support line.

The brief we set ourselves: a cashier that never stops selling when the internet drops, books that are right without an accountant re-entering anything, and an interface that is native in Arabic and Kurdish — not translated afterwards.

Dashing is covered by more than 9,000 automated tests (count of September 2026).

Questions

Questions about
Dashing.

What is Dashing?

Dashing (dashing.krd) is a point-of-sale, inventory and double-entry accounting platform for retail shops in Iraq — Arabic-first, also in Kurdish (Sorani) and English — with a cashier that works offline and a built-in AI assistant called Dash.

Who makes Dashing?

Dashing is built and run by Siroz, a software company in Baghdad, Iraq. Support is on WhatsApp at +964 770 192 2686.

Does Dashing work without internet?

Yes, for selling. The cashier, invoices, purchase orders and receipt printing keep working offline; each sale is stored on the device and uploaded exactly once when the connection returns. Reports, Dash and syncing between branches need a connection.

How much does Dashing cost?

There is a free plan with no card and no expiry, and a Yearly plan at 420,000 IQD a year (about 35,000 IQD a month). Every new shop starts with a 14-day trial of the Yearly features; a paid year has a 14-day full refund and does not renew automatically.

Is Dashing an app I download from the App Store?

No. Dashing runs in the browser on any PC, tablet or phone and can be installed to the home screen like an app. There are no App Store or Google Play versions.

What hardware does Dashing support?

Any barcode scanner that types like a keyboard (USB or Bluetooth), 80 mm receipt printers through the browser's print dialog, plus A4 invoices and PDFs. Scales and 58 mm printers are not supported.

What can't Dashing do yet?

It is not built for table-service restaurants (no tables or kitchen display), has no scale integration, no customer-facing display and no payroll.

How do I start with Dashing?

Open dashing.krd, create your shop on the free plan and import your products from a CSV or Excel sheet — 500 items import in well under a minute. Questions go to Siroz on WhatsApp.
